Trentham Golf Club - Lisa and Sally win Victorian 4BBB womens championship

Congratulations to Trentham's Lisa Caines and Sally Kirkright, who won the women's event in the 2025 Golf Australia Victorian 4-Ball Championship.

Held over two days, the first round on Monday February 17 was at Spring Valley Golf Club. Lisa and Sally came 5th with 37 points. On the second day on Tuesday February 18 at Heritage Golf Club, they had an excellent 40 points, overtaking the leaders to win the championship overall.

Two other Trentham pairs, Rosemary Kelly and Trish Brierley, Alex Evered and Simon Ovenden represented the club by competing in the championship.

One of the Golf Australia 4BBB championship qualifying rounds is our own 4-Ball Stableford event during the Trentham Tournament week, this year on Wednesday 22 October 2025. You could qualify for the final just like Lisa and Sally! Keep it in your diary.

Trentham Travellers

The Monday Muggers sometimes organise visits to other golf clubs, and they become known as the Trentham Travellers. They may organise day trips to nearby clubs, or 2-3 day trips to more distant locations e.g. the Murray River. The feature is good golf with friends and a welcoming social atmosphere. If you are interested in these visits, please contact Dick Ellis.

Monday Muggers

The Monday Muggers is a group of club members that play social golf on most Mondays throughout the year at the club. Players assemble at 8.55 am for a 9.00 am 'multi-tee' hit-off.

All members, plus friends and visitors, are welcome to play in the Stableford competition.

Bookings are in groups of 3 and should be made on the timesheet by 6.00pm on the Sunday evening. Names can be entered in any available time slot between 8.30 and 9.30, however tee-off is at 9.00 irrespective of booking time.

Members pay $5 for the barbeque. Non-members pay an additional $45 green fee.
