Trentham Golf Club - Club receives sustainability grant

Hepburn Shire held a function on Thursday August 15 at the new Trentham Mechanics to formally award the grants for their 2024 Environment and Sustainability grants program. Trentham Golf Club was awarded $9000 to upgrade the solar PV system and improve the efficiency of the clubhouse lighting. Colin Wilson attended the function on behalf of the club to say a few words about the club and its sustainability program, and to accept the grant.

A big thanks to Hepburn Shire for making the grants available, and of course finding that the golf club was a worthy recipient.

Trentham Travellers

The Monday Muggers sometimes organise visits to other golf clubs, and they become known as the Trentham Travellers. They may organise day trips to nearby clubs, or 2-3 day trips to more distant locations e.g. the Murray River. The feature is good golf with friends and a welcoming social atmosphere. Monday Muggers

The Monday Muggers is a group of club members that play social golf on most Mondays throughout the year at the club. Players assemble at 8.55 am for a 9.00 am 'multi-tee' hit-off.

All members, plus friends and visitors, are welcome to play in the Stableford competition.

Bookings are in groups of 3 and should be made on the timesheet by 6.00pm on the Sunday evening. Names can be entered in any available time slot between 8.30 and 9.30, however tee-off is at 9.00 irrespective of booking time.

Members pay $5 for the barbeque. Non-members pay an additional $45 green fee.
